Synopsis
Kisses and Lies presents a fly on wall perspective of six performers who have lost the meaning of friendship, loyalty and honesty. The action takes place in the confined space of the theatre dressing room. As they prepare to perform on stage their already volatile and stained relationships become explosive.
Sensitive Troy and egotistical Danilo couldn’t be more different but their love-hate friendship has been strong for years. Kit is on his first big contract. He is eager to please and make a good impression but he soon learns that this is not the way to gain respect and advance. Rising star Blaze appears after great speculation over his long absence but as always he has an ulterior motive which includes a plan hatched by Company manager Jules who has more ambition than talent. Tempers rise when Diva Zara appears with her leg in plaster and cannot perform. As the clock ticks towards curtain up things become tenser. When Theater Boss victor Galloway arrives unannounced their lives become more dramatic than the show they are performing in.
