Synopsis
This drama-comedy deals with friendship, love and the search for acceptance and happiness. Conny (Vera Velich), Melli (Derya Kaptan), Sam (Aline Hambugo) and Lulu (Brianna Rigby) have been friends since childhood and have met once a year for the past twenty-five years.
Time has been kind to them, it seems. However, they feel disillusioned and unfulfilled in their individual life choices and are secretly jealous of each other. At this annual meeting, their childhood recollections reveal hidden secrets, jealousy, resentment, homophobia and racism. Posing the question – do we really know anyone and how well do we really know about ourselves? The drama is supported by the soundtrack of their youth – music from the ’80s.
